Bruce Ashley is - to be honest - a bit of a cycling nut. Not only does he cycle extensively, for work and pleasure, but has been writing about it for over 20 years. He's the author of the best selling Cycling around Sydney (now in its 5th edition, with sales exceeding 20,000) and publishes the popular Sydney Bike-It guide. He also acts as a regular lobbyist for cycling groups and as a consultant for government and contractors, advising on the suitability of cycle-ways and the ideal cycling environment.
